One of the tasks of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSAshort forEuropean Food Safety Authority) is to provide information on health risks in the food chain in the European Union (EU). To this end, it works closely with partner institutions in the member states.

EFSAshort forEuropean Food Safety Authority's campaigns draw attention to pressing food safety issues to raise awareness about everyday food choices.

The StopASF (Stop African Swine Fever) campaign is aimed primarily at farmers, but also at veterinarians, and aims to inform them about the viral disease that occurs in domestic and wild pigs.
