The information portal oursafefood.de of the German EFSAshort forEuropean Food Safety Authority Focal Point, the contact point of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSAshort forEuropean Food Safety Authority) in Germany, provides information on issues relating to food and feed safety in Europe.

In the BfRshort forGerman Federal Institute for Risk Assessment World Food Safety Almanac, for example, 38 countries currently present their food safety systems, thereby facilitating European and international cooperation in this area.

The Eurobarometer analyses the perceptions and attitudes of the European population with regard to food safety in Europe. The results of the Eurobarometer survey show, for example, which information channels are used by consumers to find out about possible health risks in the food chain.
